Maestral
Maestral is a daily thermal wind that blows from the northwest and is the result of differences in the rate of warming of land and sea. It is present from spring to autumn, and often changes the direction of blowing during the day. It alleviates the summer heat, is a companion of beautiful and more stable weather and pleasant for sailing. In the southern Adriatic, the maestral is more pronounced than in the northern and begins to blow earlier. In the afternoon, it can reach a speed of 20 to 35 knots.
